Enfolding, a new album released by the String Orchestra of Brooklyn, features the world premiere recordings of Scott Wollschleger’s, “Outside Only Sound”,  and Honolulu’s very own Native Hawaiian composer/ sound artist, Anne Leilehua Lanzilotti’s, “with eyes the color of time”, honored as a 2022 Finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. 

Known for her vibrant composition, Lanzilotti is inspired by works in The Contemporary Museum in Honolulu as well as translating everyday sounds to concert instruments using nontraditional techniques. With this album, the SOB brings Lanzilotti and Wollschleger’s compositional voices together, enfolding these encounters and explorations of sonic space.
