BĀS BOOKSHOP and HOMEY HI: Film Screening & Live Performance by FUNGI QUEEN

On Feb. 25th 2022, we had an in-store screening of the documentary film Fantastic Fungi, a descriptive time-lapse journey about the magical, mysterious and medicinal world of fungi and their power to heal, sustain and contribute to the regeneration of life on Earth that began 3.5 billion years ago.  

The event followed with a live performance by a local rock band, Fungi Queen.  Fungi Queen pulls from many different influences such as punk, psychedelic rock, garage, surf rock, post punk, reggae etc. Recently the band has released their single Flowers and is in the process of finishing their first full album to be released by early 2022.
