POPEYE Magazine have been influencing the lifestyle of City Boys in Japan ever since its debut in 1976.  There is no definition for the term City Boy in a dictionary and it has been a topic of discussion for decades.  POPEYE Magazine aims to define the term by exploring the lifestyle of City Boys whether it's a style or a way of thinking and the topics include fashion, food, outdoors, travel and life in the cities like New York, Paris, London, and Tokyo.

We are living in an era where listening to or finding music is endless with just a touch on your phone screen.  This issue is intended to give opportunities to explore various types of music that may not have been on your playlists before like a sweet Chicago soul from Scandinavian musicians to street sounds from NYC or even anime songs from the 70's/80's that adopted to city pop and jazz.
